Hi, friends!

*Hidden in this email you will find directions to enter a giveaway! A chance to win two free tickets to Santa Photos at the farm*

In this email you will enjoy a behind the scenes look into what we have been up to the last couple weeks at Mortimer Farms.

All the life stock guardian puppies have found their forever homes! So special to see the instant bond between the pups and their new families!

Huge shoutout to our incredible team! Thanks to their hard work, collaboration, and positive energy, the magic of Pumpkin Fest comes alive each year. Here are just a few highlights to celebrate our AMAZING TEAM:

- Year after year, the beauty and quality of our pumpkins never cease to amaze me. This year’s crop was nothing short of spectacular!

- The forethought, planning, organization, quick thinking, positivity, and leadership demonstrated by our managers was beyond inspiring. We couldn’t be more proud or grateful!

- This season, the Windmill Kitchen’s average ticket time was 2 minutes and 46 seconds, serving farm-to-table food grown and raised right here at Mortimer Farms!

- From burgers at the Windmill Kitchen to specialty items at Crepes & Cream Co, 4-7 Smokehouse, Doghouse, Bakery and Deli, Hangry Nation, Tumbleweed Coffee, Tacos El Flaco, Bikini Bottom, Pooh’s Kettle Corn, and Pierogi – this year’s food selection was outstanding!

- The Market & Delis has never looked better! The team created a seamless flow, perfect displays, and delivered exceptional service to every guest, making each person feel welcomed and valued.

- Special thanks to the Silos Exit Gift Shop, Pumpkin Valet, gate attendants, hayride tours, and Apple Barn Gift Shop teams for their warmth, hard work, organization, and hospitality.

- Our entertainers brought our mission to life, connecting guests to the story of their food at every turn. Each performance was memorable!

- Our farm team rocked it! From caring for the land and growing food to managing cleanliness, trash service, and maintenance, they ensured our guests had an unforgettable experience. And their participation in the Tractor Parade was the cherry on top!

We are so incredibly thankful for each and every one on our team! Being part of your families’ stories is an honor, and none of this would be possible without our team’s incredible support and dedication.

Every year just gets better and better!

P.S. We’re open all year! The corn maze, pumpkin fields, fall bakery menu, and more are still available and our Friday Night Barn Dances continuing through the winter!

GUYS!! This review made my heart so happy!!!

“This year our visit was extra special because of the tractor parade! We loved seeing the equipment and getting t-shirts for our kids, but most of all it was really neat to see how family oriented the farm is. It was so sweet seeing babies on tractors with their dads! Being reminded of the real people behind our food makes me want to support locally sourced food that much more!”

Happy Birthday to Gary!! It doesn’t take long to realize Gary finds immense joy in doing what he does - growing food, caring for the land, nurturing animals, and conserving precious resources for future generations. He is a farmer and a rancher through and through! Starting with nothing but grit and a dream, he’s worked tirelessly to build an incredible legacy—from Mortimer Nursery to Mortimer Ranches to Mortimer Farms.

Through his dedication to sustainable farming, conservation, livestock care, family memories, wholesale experiences, and great food he has created a place that brings people together, connects them with the land, and ensures that future generations will continue to enjoy this special place. Gary’s passion and commitment have touched countless lives, making Mortimer Farms a cherished destination for so many. Families return year after year to make memories, and our community is stronger because of his vision and generosity.

He is the ultimate family man, with a heart of gold and an unmatchable passion for what he does. Join us in celebrating Gary today – here’s to you and the legacy you’re creating! Thank you for all you do and for being the amazing person you are!

Okay! That was amazing! Winter Barn Dances at The Silos venue was so special! Join us every Friday night, all year! Can't wait for the first private event at The Silos event this weekend! Our newest venue at the farm is already highly sought after, with bookings filling up fast- we're so excited to be a part of the unforgettable private events that will take place here!

The sheep herd is starting to eat left over pumpkins. Pumpkins are a GREAT source of nutrients and are nature dewormer for both cattle and sheep. Plus, THE HERD LOVES PUMPKINS!

Farmers vote too!

Here at Mortimer Farms, we blend farm elegance and rustic beauty with a modern twist to create the perfect backdrop for your wedding.

Santa is coming to the farm!!

Pruning blackberry vines is an essential aspect of maintaining a healthy and productive blackberry crop. It is a very labor-intensive process to prune all our blackberry vines. Year after year we learn and hone our methods to become more efficient in the process. All the pruned material is chopped in each row and over time transforms into nutrient-rich soil. The thornless vines will go dormant for the winter, go into a growth state in the spring, produce AMAZING blackberries next summer and then put all their energy into the following year's fruiting bark in the fall.

**to enter to win 2 free tickets to visit Santa please post a review about your last visit to the farm. Then go to our Instagram stories and answer yes to the poll that we just posted to signify that you are entering in the drawing.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring about the story of your food. Thank you for supporting our family, our team, our farm, and Arizona agriculture!

Mortimer Farms, a real working farm, open seven days a week.

Connecting your Family to your food!

The Heart of Mortimer Farms

We believe in being stewards of this planet and its resources. We believe in practicing smart and sustainable farming techniques. We believe that community and connection are at the heart of a good life. We believe in extending kindness, thoughtfulness, and hospitality to all we meet. We believe in embracing change and improving daily. We believe that experiences are far more valuable than things and that spending quality time together is the very best way to spend our time. We believe in discovering beauty, marveling in it, and savoring every moment.

We believe in preserving and honoring the importance of agriculture. We believe that as we share our story, we are also sharing the story of Arizona and American agriculture. We believe food is the thing that connects us all. We believe it’s time for the pendulum to swing back to the basics of slow food, shopping local, scratch cooking, gathering together, and buying directly from the farmer. We believe in “connecting your family to your food”.

This is the heart behind Mortimer Farms and the principles that drive us in all that we do.
