Hi there!

We can't wait to welcome you to Free Community Day at Mortimer Farms tomorrow (Saturday, May 3rd)! Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Farm Park Fun – Enjoy all our farm-inspired rides, games, and activities!

  • Animal Encounter – Meet goats, chickens, peacocks, and more.

  • Pick-Your-Own – Head into the fields and harvest something fresh! Strawberry season is just beginning, and there are only a few red strawberries out there—but if you’re already planning to visit, it’s a fun challenge to try and find one! Please only pick fully red, ripe strawberries so the others have time to sweeten. We are also harvesting cucumbers, zucchini, asparagus, lettuce, carrots, green onions, and more! (Anything you pick, eat, or take home will be available for purchase.)

  • Windmill Kitchen – Open 10am–6pm serving up farm-to-table burgers - fan favorites for sure.

  • Market & Deli – Open 7am–7pm with local goods, kitchen treasures, and delicious treats.

  • Apple Barn – Open 9:30am–3pm filled with handmade, antique, and one-of-a-kind treasures—perfect for gifting or decorating your home. You'll find charming kitchen items, home decor, and Mother’s Day gifts she’ll love (Mother’s Day is right around the corner).

  • Humboldt Firewise Expo – Visit from 10am–1pm for fire safety fun and demos!

Admission to the farm is completely FREE tomorrow—so come enjoy the day with us! Just a heads up: anything you pick, eat, or want to take home with you (like produce or treats) will be an additional charge.

Also, outside food, drink and pets are not allowed due to food safety.

We can’t wait to see you on the farm!

Mortimer Farms, a real working farm, open seven days a week.

Connecting your Family to your food!

The Heart of Mortimer Farms

We believe in being stewards of this planet and its resources. We believe in practicing smart and sustainable farming techniques. We believe that community and connection are at the heart of a good life. We believe in extending kindness, thoughtfulness, and hospitality to all we meet. We believe in embracing change and improving daily. We believe that experiences are far more valuable than things and that spending quality time together is the very best way to spend our time. We believe in discovering beauty, marveling in it, and savoring every moment.

We believe in preserving and honoring the importance of agriculture. We believe that as we share our story, we are also sharing the story of Arizona and American agriculture. We believe food is the thing that connects us all. We believe it’s time for the pendulum to swing back to the basics of slow food, shopping local, scratch cooking, gathering together, and buying directly from the farmer. We believe in “connecting your family to your food”.

This is the heart behind Mortimer Farms and the principles that drive us in all that we do.
