Pick blackberries, release butterflies, and experience the magic of the farm until 9pm!
Dear Farm Friends,
Picture this: rows of flourishing blackberry vines, the warm scent of ripe berries in the air, purple-stained smiles, and a sky turning golden as the sun sets over the farm.
Welcome to the Blackberry Festival at Mortimer Farms—a celebration of berries, pollinators, and the beauty of the Earth.
Step into the fields where every stage of the blackberry’s life is on display—from tiny buds to juicy, ready-to-pick fruit.
Experience the magic of butterfly and ladybug releases, reminding us of the powerful connection between pollinators, plants, and people.
Explore the farm with hands-on activities, live shows, and farm-fresh flavors—all designed to connect you to your food and the land that grows it.
New this year: Blackberry Trivia! Test your berry knowledge for sweet surprises.
Most entertainment runs from 4pm to 9pm, when the farm cools off and the evening magic begins—though our gates open at 7am for those early risers who want to spend all day at the farm, or enjoy the morning views and then come back for the evening entertainment.
📅 Festival Dates:
July 12th, 13th, 19th, and 20th

Connecting your Family to your food!
The Heart of Mortimer Farms
We believe in being stewards of this planet and its resources. We believe in practicing smart and sustainable farming techniques. We believe that community and connection are at the heart of a good life. We believe in extending kindness, thoughtfulness, and hospitality to all we meet. We believe in embracing change and improving daily. We believe that experiences are far more valuable than things and that spending quality time together is the very best way to spend our time. We believe in discovering beauty, marveling in it, and savoring every moment.
We believe in preserving and honoring the importance of agriculture. We believe that as we share our story, we are also sharing the story of Arizona and American agriculture. We believe food is the thing that connects us all. We believe it’s time for the pendulum to swing back to the basics of slow food, shopping local, scratch cooking, gathering together, and buying directly from the farmer. We believe in “connecting your family to your food”.
This is the heart behind Mortimer Farms and the principles that drive us in all that we do.
