The Pumpkin Fest brings so much magic. Magic as we are surrounded by a great team, great guests, and a beautiful farm.
This year more than ever, I am counting my blessings! Just like the rest of the world, we are short-staffed. But, despite the number of employees we have, our staff is doing a great job in giving our guests a magical experience. Why? Because our team is absolutely amazing! The first words to come to mind are hardworking, dedicated, and excellent customer service. Because of this fantastic team, we can open the gates of our real working farm to the public. Because of this amazing team, we can provide your family with an avenue to create family traditions, hear the story of your food, and enjoy fall.
As we go into our fourth weekend of the Pumpkin Fest, I wish I had 15-30 more employees. Crazy enough, I have received applications for over 100 people. Of these, over 50% did not return a phone call to be interviewed, and of those who were hired 25% did not show up for work. In the world we live in, it is extremely hard to find employees willing to show up for work. So, we rely heavily on those who do come to work. We thank our guests for being patient with our team as they work tirelessly to give your family an unmatchable fall experience.
Thank you for being such great guests!! Thank you for sharing our farm with us! We love opening our farm to all of you. The respect and love you have for our farm is unmatched. Thank you for taking care of our farm while you visit and for loving it as much as we do!
Fall is my favorite time of the year because I am reminded of all the good in the world - our amazing team, our amazing guests, our amazing farm. We truly have so much to be grateful for. So thank you! Thank you for being a part of our lives, our farm, and the Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze!
