...Our Family!

Our week has been crazy! Ashlee (me) and Hayden (my tall, dark, and handsome Army brother) GRADUATED!

First Hayden! I am still trying to get all the Army talk down so in a effort to not confuse you with AIT, CASEVAC, BSB, ZI, MEDCOM, MOPP, and all other Military acronyms I am going to try and explain the story in civilian talk. Hayden graduated from Basic Training a few months ago. The whole family got to go to his base, hangout with him, tour the base, hear all about Hayden's training, and witness the Army! It was incredible to see the structure, formation, and team work that was instilled in Hayden and his class (there is a more proper word - but again I am terrible at keeping all the terms straight and Hayden isn't here to remind me what everything is called). This past week my parents were able to head back to base for Hayden's AIT (special training) graduation! Really, Christmas came early!

Holy moly!! My brother looks good in uniform! & Special note from me - all through high school I would always find myself yelling at Hayden to shave... my favorite part of the Army - they make Hayden shave 2 times a day!!!

We are so very proud of all he has accomplished and all he is doing! And above all we are so glad the Army hasn't scared his since of humor away (insert funny face here)! #ArmyStrong

Notice the cows in the background! You can take the boy out the ranch but you cant take the ranch out the boy!

My parents went straight from Hayden's graduation to mine! I graduated from the University of Arizona with my Bachelors degree in Agriculture Technology and Management with an emphasis in Communications and I couldn't be more excited to be done!

The first thing my mama said when she sat down at my graduation: "Boy, this is not has rehearsed as the one earlier this week"! And to that I say... not at all & if you ever have the chance to witness an Army graduation - don't miss it! It is AMAZING, without error, and makes any normal person speechless! Regardless of how terrible my class walked in the hall we still made it across that stage! #BearDown

I am beyond thankful for my family! I got extremely lucky to get such a great one! The love, support, laughs, and fun that we have is something to celebrate!
